Bio

A prominent name in the world of gastronomy, Chef Tom Meyer has built an impressive career, working in some of France’s most renowned restaurants. A protégé of the legendary Anne-Sophie Pic, Meyer showcased his mastery at Granite in Paris, earning his first Michelin star just six months after opening, and later at La Chèvre d’Or on the French Riviera.

In these establishments, he developed his innovative culinary style, perfectly balancing classical French techniques with modern influences.

Premii

His recognition by the Michelin Guide and the title Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 2023, along with winning the Taittinger International Culinary Prize and reaching the finals of the Bocuse d’Or competition, are undeniable proof of his exceptional talent and unique approach to gastronomy.

My name is Cătălin Grancea, and I am the Maître de Maison at Relais & Châteaux Le Bistrot Français in the heart of Bucharest. More than just a title, this role is an expression of my deep passion for the art of hospitality, a craft I have practiced with dedication and fulfillment for over a decade within this group.

From the first step into the restaurant to the final note of a successful evening, my mission is to transform every visit into a memorable experience, warm and authentically French. Here, we don’t just serve dishes,  we cultivate the perfect moment.
