In this special edition of the Epicurian Club, guests of Le Bistrot Français were taken on a journey through the history and complexity of some of the most refined wines from Saint-Estèphe, produced by the legendary Château Phélan Ségur.
With a tradition spanning over two centuries, this iconic Bordeaux estate harmoniously combines power and elegance, offering wines of great depth with exceptional aging potential.
The evening’s special guest, Ms. Véronique Dausse, General Manager of Château Phélan Ségur, personally presented the wine selection and shared stories about the estate’s unique terroir, winemaking vision, and the philosophy of excellence that guides this prestigious château.

Rooted in French culinary tradition and inspired by the richness of local Romanian ingredients, his cuisine is a perfect harmony of heritage, creativity, and technical precision.
The first event of the Epicurian Club took place on February 5, 2025, starting at 7:00 PM, celebrating the collection wines of Chanel – an exceptional selection from the portfolios of three prestigious estates:
- Château Rauzan-Ségla – Grand Cru Classé from Margaux, renowned for its elegance and classic structure
- Château Canon – Premier Grand Cru Classé from Saint-Émilion, celebrated for its remarkable finesse and refinement
- Château Berliquet – a unique terroir in the heart of Saint-Émilion, where tradition meets a modern expression of wine
Nine remarkable labels accompanied a six-course gastronomic dinner, specially crafted by the talented team at Le Bistrot Français, in an evening that united the elegance of exceptional wines with high-class culinary artistry.
